Here's a question that I would like a Dev to answer... how does a pure crafter get to Force Sensitive? I'm a Master DE, Master SW and Master Artisian. Now I might be able to visit all those POI's and maybe complete all those badges if well grouped... but how is a pure crafter to combat level 72 sith?
SOE told us that anyone will be able to become a Jedi... take my combat level 7 crafter and please show me how
I would love the crafting bonus that FS Crafting gives - but I don't see how I could ever get it, unless I repec to combat then respec back to crafter...
Any thoughts on this topic?

Sure. Why can't you just grind the heck out of droids, turn it all into Force Crafting XP, and get the boxes you need for the crafting bonus? No combat there...

Before the CU I got force sensitive with just Novice Carbineer (CL 14 now). I hear the spawn is bugged (read above) but to be honest thats now the least of your problems
You _ARE_ going to have to group with someone higher to even get to the village to get the crafting quests, and the amount of crafting xp you need for the force crafting tree is INSANE!

The real problem is the theme parks and such for the badges. You used to be able to do them with no combat skills, I did them all with just a droid. They are way to high of a level now.
You can get a friend to helkp with the Sith ambush and stuff, but it's much harder to get somebody to babysit you through 4 hours of each theme park.

Yep, i took 4 days off from droid engineering and utilized the respec to pick up 5 content badges and defeat my sith shadow attackers (level 77 and 74).
I'm back to DE now though, and busy trading in my (240k cap?) xp for fs xp... slowly.......

And then there's wading through Dathomir to get to the village, hoping you don't run smack dab in the middle of a family of nightsister rancors...

Seayte is right! I am force sensitive and have been trying to get Crafting skills but most of the quests to open the branches MUST involve combat with sith. THEY are the only source for the special resources needed to craft defences for the village. So unless you have a group of VERY good friends a pure crafter is SOL for Jedi crafting bonus. Not to mention the crafting tree is only 4 branches, you need 6....

You need six to become a Jedi Initiate, which has nothing to do with crafting though. You only need to unlock the four crafting trees to be the best Force sensitive crafter you can be. Crafters weren't exactly intended to work solo. Do you think pure-crafter Armorsmiths get the Dathomirian leather on their own? Keep that in mind.

Have you tried buying those resources?
They go for nothing on my server. Check the GVS. They are so usless I usually /destroy them at this point. I'm talking people can't give them away for 1K each.
I'm usually the first one to say gating crafters is wrong, forced grouping sucks, etc., but in this case it really isn't any hinderance. They fall off of just about every single Sith - they aren't rare at all.
