Is there any way to set up a macro that will craft items for you? I'm trying to Master DE but it's going to take FOREVER!!!! at the rate I'm going, and I was wondering if there was some sort of automated way I could get crafting done while I was away doing other things. If anyone know of the script for such a macro, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks!

Whoo-Hoo! Eric the Great is my new Hero!

I was searching around and also found a link to this thread. Very helpful for anyone who wants to learn the basics of Macros:

That script you posted Eric, isn't fully automatic, but it looks like it'd be faster than doing it all by hand. The only part you still have to do, is to drag'n'drop or double click the resources you need to use. The macro does the rest. So hopefully this will speed things along a bit.

Last question....

Can anyone list the resource requirements for the MSE Droids and the Adv. Droid Frames? Thanks!

I wouldn't expect alot of help on the boards man. Do the research yourself. Many of those of us that have choosen DE as a profession willingly (not because a box told us to) are not to keen on the whole holocron thing.

And those of us who have willingly devoted themselves to the Force aren't too keen on the whole crafting thing....

Besides....the boards have been pretty helpful so far.

MSE droids only require metal and chemical, while advance droid frames require steel and fiberplast.

So load up on the steel and fiberplast.

People calculated ( I know my numbers arent exactly right, but theyre close enough ) that you need around 600k steel and 300k fiberplast to make it to MDE.

So I hope youre already rich, or are able to lay down a lot of heavy harvesters.

Yeah exactly. The only profession I wanted less than DE was Architecht, and I'm sure I'll get that for my second Holocron. At one point I had gotten Novice DE and was halfway to my first skill, but crafting is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO boring. I just need to get DE over and done with though.

......

So....does that mean there's no crafting macros, and I'm gonna have to earn all ten-zillion Droid Engineer Experience Points by hand?

Yes, you are correct sir. Think of it as the sacrifice that you have to make in order to gain your next 'Holocron says...' command. Isn't becoming a Jedi supposed to take hard work and sacrifice?

Making SWG more Star Warsy. One droid at a time.

Ah...Poodoo!

Yes, walking the path of the Force is not an easy trail to tread. That's how I'm trying to look at this. I keep telling myself, "This is the hard and boring part. Just get through it and it'll all be peaches and creame on the other side."

.....it doesn't make crafting anymore interesting though. Oh well.

Get a LOT of steel and fiberplast. Grind MSE droids until you can build advance droid frames, then try this.

This was posted on these forums a couple weeks ago, so I do not know how well it works. I got to MDE the hard way months ago. Good luck.
