Droids will autostore when incapped if not quickly revived.
Did I miss something here? I didn't think there was any way to revive, heal, fix a droid's damage.
So now once your droid gets incapped, unless you can make a camp, you are out all alone. "The Sims Online" is looking better and better with each patch.
I didn't know about a boost to probots.
This is bad. This means that everytime a probot (or any droid for that matter) gets incapped it will store and there is nothing you can do about it. For me, and I'm there are others in this situation, I don't have scout. I can not just drop a camp and call a droid out. If it stores or gets stuck some place and I don't notice (another very annoying bug) I am out there alone, just me and my CDEF.
This link we have to animal pets is killing us. SOE needs to make the decision here to seperate droid code from pet code. Droids are not animals and though shouldn't behave like them just because it is easy to do.
i just made my first probot tonight , and i'm able to call him out anywhere on the planet...(except private homes)
am i doing something different?
(serious question , cause i'm still a newb)
welp , my magical "call anywhere powers" went away.
must of been some sort of a bug , i could call all 3 of my droids out (one at a time) anywhere . I decided to test my one pet and i couldn't , then tried the droids again , no luck.
I tried to reproduce the bug over and over (i think it happened when i declared residence while my pet was out , either that or setting my house to private/public) , but no luck.
I've had overt imperials cycle through stimpacking and killing my pet, driving a 100 vitality to 42 in under 2 minutes. This sounds like a fix to that kind of griefing, and a busted up probot (or a full health on for that matter) isn't much help anyhow. It's not like you were going to heal it, or that you were only winning your fight because of the massive damage it does. I'm glad I can't be greifed anymore, slightly annoyed at the storing. All in all, I'd say things are about the same.
Any pet is helpful even a probot with a sliver of health left and a full one is very useful.
The griefing that they were doing is just no honor at all. But I doubt this will fix it since they were healing it each time.
What this for for DEs is make it so out droids are even less attractive.
