I am sure this has been suggested, but seems so obvious to me, as a Novice Armorsmith as to be a sweet idea. The Dev's are always talking about increasing the dependency of classes upon eachother. Why not have a shield module that allows the input of an Armorsmith created PSG. The shield used as part of the construction of the module would allow the droid all the perks that a PSG does for us. MK3's would provide higher protections at the expense of durability, while the MK1 would provide minimum protection with greaterdurability. Without going too far into specifics as far as recharging the shield as the durability goes down, what do you think.

I can especially see this integrating into the Droideka chasis that all the DE's seem to really want. Makes sense having seen the movies huh?
