I just calculated that I have 980 more to go so we're in the same boat. Currently testing the market for my christmas holocron to see how much spare cash it will bring my way for purchasing the resources.

No idea how many more I've got to go, but shouldn't be too bad. Now if I only actually wanted to get there anymore I'd go out and do it. I'm sick of the grind and I have most of the stuff anyway with 4-3-1-4

One tip to save money that should be relatively obvious - survey and harvest - resources are sold often for a reason, they make money. If you're just looking to grind stuff anyway it's cheaper by far to try and harvest your stuff. My 2 cents anyway...

Well I have calculated it out, and I have reached the point. I need to make exactly 1000 more Advanced Droid Frame Units in order to reach Master Droid Engineer. It just makes me wonder though, HOW MANY HAVE I MADE SO FAR!!!!! I don't mind it though, it really give you a sence of acomplishment to have to make so many, although seeing how long it's taking me to reach Master DE, you people with jedi's must have no life

not to mention critical fails in between those 1000 =)
