Droid Engineer Archive

Just thinking how fun it would be if DE's got a quest like the Armorsmith's RIS armor. What are your thoughts on this one? What kind of matrials and what kind of Droid would be worth questing for? (execpt the Droidinka )

I have been thinking about something along these lines as well...

You never see battle droids or droidekas an ep. 4-6, so it makes sense that the knowledge of how to make these droids might have been lost with the rise of the empire.

I think it would be really cool to have the new combat droid schematics gained not automatically, but by working with/for Nym on Lok. Some kind of crafting experimentation quests.

Yeah, I was thinking about this a while back too. Ideally it would involve the Jawa Fortress on Tat, where else to go for some rare droid stuff?

Jawa Fortress is a complete embarrassment and disappointment, needs a complete rework, the droid parts found there should be for odd ball droids, torture droids maybe /cackle

Lok, plenty of Droidekas to get parts from, since Nym has so many working ones in his service, should be able to get from Him or a mission where you get the schematic from his droid engineer.

Battle droids...someplace on Naboo, perhaps from the Trade Federation loyalists in the wilderness.

Tin-men.. I mean IG88's from the cave on Lok perhaps. Oddly enough many of the droids there didn't aggro, until I tried to "persuade" them to give me their parts.

But all in all I think it would be a fairly fun thing to do. Will be funny the day that all the Ahazi DEs gang together and head out there en masse to score some blueprints. "Never in the annals of Calamari History have so many been scared so much by so few DEs in one place."

I would absolutely love if there was a quest to make an 'amazing' droid - something along the lines of Guri from the EU (see the databank on starwars.com). A High level droid that anyone can use but that requires rediculously complicated components and loot would well...I'd much rather spend credits on it than on some armour

..I like the idea of a IG-88 series Assasin driod schematic (even though they were "outlawed")...
