I'm assuming that the thing I got is a skill tape... looks like a spool of ribbon in my inventory. Says it increases droid experimentation by 1... so how does one make use of it? I tried putting it on some clothing, and it didn't go. I tried putting it on a backpack with four empty slots. Went into the backpack instead of into a slot... Can't seem to figure it out.

And is a +1 tape worth anything?

You need slotted clothing for it (clothing that appears yellow)... just drag it on top of the piece of clothing.

Ah, ok... guess I'll buy a slotted belt orshirt or somesuchthen. Thanks. I didn't know that's what the yellow meant. Learn something new every day.

But is a +1 tape worth anything, as far as selling? I have several others, plus even more armor attachments for various skills, although that is the onlyclothing tape that does anything that would be usefulfor me. None of them increases anything more than 2 points. Most are for brawler or marksman skills, so I'm thinking I might sell them off, if they are worth the effort. What kind of price should I put on them, 10, 100, 1k, 10k,... 1M, or what?

For experimentation you need a total of 10 points to get one extra experimentation point while your crafting, so if a person has less than that it does no good. Prices can vary wildy, but the droid ones go for a bit less since there are so few Droid Engineers around. The combat ones tend to go for more.
