I have a friend who found a droid memory chip, Anyone know what it is for or what to do with it? Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not 100% sure on this one, but I think that is a quest item from Nym's Stronghold on Lok.

yes, I think it may even be needed to get further in the quest or something, not quite sure. Only thing I do know is that it is not a usable part in any way/shape/form.

Yeah, it is part of the Nym quest. So it's doubtful it has any other use than to be turned in to the pirates to complete the quest.
