Ok DEs... I really feel sorry for you guys... broke since day 1... nerfed to death... biped droids STILL don't work... and now you have to face the embarassment of making maintenence droids into "combat" droids! Really sad.

But... speaking as a pure crafter with no combat at all... I've been hit with the last straw! Even with no combat, I still have to travel out into the dangerous wilds of unpredictable pop-up spawns and warping mobs inorcer to harvest materials. My only saving grace was my bodyguard... a probot with medium armor and about 1800 HAM.

When I was out working, I set my probot on guard. If I was attacked, the droid could tank my attacker while I ran away, using 'tellpet' from a safe distance to call off the droid. This droid even took 4 hits from a canyon krayt once before going down! And saving my azz to boot! It was the ultimate bodyguard for a non combat player like me. It couldn't do much damage, but it could tank.

not anymore...

I log in last night and the armor was gone and the HAM was reduced to 850. Now my trusty protector is nothing more than a single use distraction, cause it will die long before I can call it off.

Thanks a bunch SOE for making my game life harder and less fun!
