Thread: what's the deal on the droid tool kit schematic?

I heard the droid repair tool was making a come back, and this belt would finaly be craftable. I have everything lined up and ready for it, and now what? Do the "repair kits" work in its stead? I've seen one in game, so someone knew something about it. I hope I can at least get a straight answer on whether it's craftable now or not, and if not that's a little unfair. The crafter's aprons work, the weaponsmiths tool kit works. Are DE's getting the shaft once again? Thanks for any input.

I hope some one finds out soon. I bought a schematic for a tailor friend that will be master soon to make for me. I sure hope it can be made I had to spend a lot of credits to get the schematic. I'm a pure crafter and can't got get these things myself. Anyway, does anyone know what is needed to make these?

check swgtailor.com for the info. I think it takes two heavy clasps, one heavy leather, and droid repair tool which doesn't even exist. on general principle the schematic needs to be changed, or the component brought in if only for this belt. It's a tad unfair that every other profession has their belt or apron, and DE's don't. I'm surprised there isn't much uproar about this.

I tried to make one with a Droid Repair Kit - B, in hopes it would work, about 20 mins ago, and it didn't work. I think its pretty lame that this schematic is in the game if it doesn't work, its a waste of space and time. I had heard that they were supposed to bring the Tools back in to make it work, but I guess they thought that's what the Kits were, well, wake up devs, Kits doesn't = Tools....

It is a pointless thing to talk about SWG hasn't addressed it and probably won't. Look at all the things wrong with DE so far do you think that they will fix this anytime soon? It has taken them how long to try and improve the DE profession and it is getting better but there are still simple things they need to fix. Focusing on Jedi's which by far are the smallest population on the server is making other profession un-important. If they are going to focus on jedi's and always talk about them then make it an option as a profession. Sorry paid for the heavy clasps and leather and the schematic, made all the repair kits, and reconstruction kits and nothing would make it work, just a little upset.
