Thread: Quick Comparison DE vs BE
Wouldn't mind the resource cost and complexity if the end result pet was a Droideka or Roger Roger droid. That would be cool.

I concur fully.
To make a Cu-Pa requires 5 DNA samples to make a DNA template. 35 meat. 55 Flora.
Yup that's it. For a rideable, Food-Buffable,ranged-attack using 1k HAM pet.
No disrespect was intended. I never said it was easy. I was merely comparing what is possible by a low level BE compared to what is possible by a Master DE.
Things to consider.
--Mining is not easy, and one month will not render resources for half a year. Good resources are hard to come by, as I am sure you know.
--We need 14 different kinds of materials. Though admittedly some of them can cross over.
--We combine those materials in various way to create 42 sub-components, some of which require factory time.
--This is to make our BEST combat only droid.
I'm sure what you do is hard too.

Ummm, think before you speak. Surveying and harvesting takes more than a couple minutes a day.
Again, surveying is an ongoing thing, with the resources changing weekly, and some disappearing for months at a time. As a former 3-2-3-3 BE, I think you're full of bull, and need to stay over on your own forum and run down your own kind, not come here where you apparently know nothing about the profession.

A Low level Bio-engineer cancreate Cu-Pas. These are CL11 in the wild. The mountable versions are CL10. Cu-Pas have a ranged attack that targets Action only. No armor, okay resists, and the CL11 breed have 1100HAM.

You obviously don't have any idea how BE works.
Just because it looks like a Cu Pa, a BE Cu Pa doesn't have the abilities of a wild Cu Pa.
BE pets have stats and abilities based on the DNA added to it at the crafted stage. This includes HAM, ranged attack and special attacks.
If I BE just goes out and gets the first DNA he can find from 5 kreetles he will end up with a 50HAM pet.
As a current master de, I consider his opinions here helpful and informative. He didn't make the comparison between DE and BE, but only pointed out that it was not as simple as the original poster made it out to be. Which is a perfectly fair observation.

But that's just my opinion, and Hey! I could be wrong!
