Thread: Droid Engineering XP and R2 Advanced Chassis

Well I'm about 2/3 through DE now (11th box tonight!) but found something that will slow me down a bit. Crafting Advanced Chassis for R2 droids gives me a whopping ZERO xp. I know I'm not supposed to get usage xp for my components, but it also uses 210 Chemical, shouldn't that be 420 XP each chassis?

Is this happening to anyone else, or is it just me?

BTW, I did /bug it, but I wanted to check with the community also.

Hmm I think I get some xp for the final combine on the R2 adv chassis. Not a lot, but some.

Tried and tested, this is absolutely correct, 0 XP for the final combine of an R2 Adv Chassis.

I wrote the previous XP level in my chat box, then finished the combine, and low and behold, I still had the same XP.

This isn't on, 210 Chemicals used and no XP, most of us wouldn't notice if we weren't looking for it, the 0 XP will get lost in the gains for the other components.

I haven't /bugged it yet, but I will and I suggest other DEs do the same.

I've started making Advanced Binary Load Lifter Chassis for my grind item. They are a pain in the buttocks to make (6 factory made Advanced Droid Motive Systems, and 2 factory made Manipulator Arms) but they grant a whopping 4k xp per

I'm a new DE (0/0/0/1) so can't test this but does this happen with every droid with a large amount of subcomponents? Does it occur with the R3 ADV chassis too?

I can't try an Advanced R3 Chassis since I don't have them, but I also noticed that you get the same 0 XP when building a Deed for an R2 unit (actual droid this time), what's up, I'm going to do a test when I get home, I'll check my GCXP before and after, they might have mis-classified it, I can't honestly believe that someone thought, I know when a DE makes an R2 Unit he shouldn't get any XP for it, but stranger things have happened.

Other chassis I've tried have given me XP though, as far as I can tell it's just the R2 units that aren't (or possibly giving the wrong type), if anyone knows differently or would like to experiment then feel free to do so.

I posted this earlier as well. And I get no XP at all for making the R2 droid or R2 advanced chassis. Iwill test both the R2 advanced and R3, now that I can build them, but for certain the R2 and the R2 advanced chassis do not give ANY XP on the final combine. This is not UXP we are talking about, but XP that we should be getting for the materials used in the final combine.
