Actually, socket clusters are required for R2's and R3's, but you can put them into any droid. I've made droids that are running around with more modules than they should have on them. It's great, I'm hoping that causes the Dev's to fix that, and maybe make a little more common sense go into droids, an MSE shouldn't be able to hold all the same modules as the most advanced of droids, it's silly.

Anyone having any luck with R2 droids? I made a couple R2's with socket clusters for a customer. They each had multiple crafting stations and a med 6 module. He is saying only some of the modules are working. Has anyone had the same problem?

Actually, I was thinking is this a socket clusterr bug? Or is it not possible(by design) to have more than one crafting module in a droid?

from what Iv'e read it's a current bug in the system. once you put more than 1 crafting station in a droid, all but 1 goes kaput. At least, that's the story I've heard.

Yup, can't do multiple stations on one droid.
Socket clusters are for R2 and R3 units.
