Thread: I have faith, a new DE in training...
Hello folks,
I'm just today starting on my DE skill trees. I have a lot of faith that the game will start to feel more like Star Wars (Droids)and less like Pokemon (RancorCharCharu) in the near future, after a few good patches.
My question is this: Any suggestions for a noob DE? Good things to skill up on? Mistakes to avoid? General suggestions? Business strategies? I've read the "must read" posts and that's good info, I'm looking more for personal opinions and suggestions.
All comments and suggestions are welcome. I'm taking a leap of faith here into DE, please try to help the n00b. ![]()
If you're all about speed for gaining those skill boxes, work your way up blueprints until you can make advanced droid frames - they take 150 steel and 70 fiberplast. Grind them out on practice mode to make the fastest XP.
They are not the most resource efficient, but your hands will thank you later.
If you are working toward utility though, then you should probably make a more balanced approach between blueprints, and the other trees (excluding refinement, which is currently useless as customization AND experimentation both do nothing currently). I find the food/chem with medical modules installed in the same droid is a very good seller.
