Thread: Ranger Harvesting and Trapping Droid

I'm a Master Ranger, and I've been away from the game for a bit.
I'm interested in a droid(s) that can harvest and / or trap.
How does the harvesting work? Can a droid be programmed to automatically harvest from all corpses you kill, or does it need to be instructed to harvest from each corpse? Can a droid both harvest and trap? Reading through some of the other posts, it appears that some harvesting modules are more effective than others. How can you distinguish between and determine which is the best? What should I be looking for? And what is veghash?

Hi Agrilat, the harvesting droids will harvest the corpses for you and give you a harvesting bonus (I use a harvesting droid with a 102 harvest rating and ranger 0-0-4-0...the droid gives me about a 10% harvesting bonus). Unfortunately, you'll have to give it a command for each corpse you harvest.
The droids are especially useful if you use ranged combat. You can park your arse somewhere and have the droiddo theharvesting while you target the next kill. *One of the common complaints is that the droid is sometimes aggro'd and runs away...especially if you use melee combat.
**Vegash is a chef made food that gives you about a 32% harvesting bonus for approx. 10 minutes.**

main advantage with them apart from how much you harvest is the being able ot harvest while still in combat on another target.
all you do is setup a macro button to do harvest command and your all set. not sure about ranger but my decent but not max harvest droid was getting as with my novice scout as my mate who had hunting 4.
