Thread: Few questions on droids.
I'm a creature handler and was interested in droids that can attack.
I've got a few questions about that.
1) Do droids do ranged or melee damage.
2) What's the maximum damage every droidtype can do (i understand from the faq's that there are differnt kind of droids that do more or less damage). I'm not interested in armour because my creatures can tank.
3) Is there a best kind of droid for ranged damage?
4) I understand that 1 droid can hold 10 items, but if you would have 4 droids with inventory modules could you put 40 items in them??
5) Do the trapping droids actually improve your ability to trap or is it the modifier the droid uses to launch the traps.
Well thanks in advance

1: R series droid can do both, le repair does melee and probot/dz70 do ranged..as for rest dont recall off the cuff
2: very complex question as just cause a droid has the same number of combat modules in as another type of droid doesnt mean the damageidentical...i think its best to say a max'd out r3 is about 150dmg/1.2 speed a maxd out probot is 170dmg .6 speed...other models will be much less as those 2 carry the most combat mods available.
3:adv probot
4: yes, anyone can own up to 5 droids in their datapad allowing them 50 extra storage effectively.
5: not sure dont recall there is a post focusing on the testing of those modules.
2) Don't bother with every droid type, There's only 2 types worth looking at. The Advanced Probot, and the Advanced R3.
Probot - 182 - 191
R3 - 160 - 170
Please note, these are Max values for the Damage Range, assuming a Combat Rating of 550 for the Probot, and 600 for the R3. Good luck finding someone who can make a 550 rated Probot though.
3) Advanced Probot.
4) Yes.
5) Not a bloody clue.
