.......Please realise it is a very complicaed proffession,. Do yourself a favor and, at the very least, stop each time you train and try out your new schematics, and see what they do.
Sorry had to get that out of my system. I saw a few questions about grinding DE, and had a flashback to my days as a novice DE and the MDE (that had just trained me) trying to figure out what a droid defense module was. (I told him)

I did all 32 professions, and i made sure to learn each of them along the way (had to pay for the grinding somehow). I don't see why you need to make stuff sub-par (non master) to learn how to make stuff. It's way easier to master the profession then learn how to use it. Otherwise, you end up making junk that you can't sell and losing money in the long run.
On top of that, theres nothing confusing about DE at all... make storage mice droids, make med droids, make space droids, make flight comps, use the easiest chassis possible. Anything else is just decoration or junk.
