Thread: LVL 6 armor question

I know all armor is still broke from what i read. I am just coming back from a long break and i don't remember half the stuff I use to know. When I bring up the lvl 6 armor to make it, there is on slot on the bottom that says Battle Armor Segment, What do I put in there and where do I get it from. Is it one of those items I need to get from another profession?
Also, I have a case of Composite Armor Segments. What are these used for?

Battle Armor Segments are made by Armorsmiths (Novice) or looted from certain creatures. Easier to just get a schematic from the Armorsmiths though.
