Thread: redeed droids?

i have a couple of droids that i want to put away till i need them again. trying to free up some space in my datapad for the new vehicles. can droids be redeeded? or can they be put somewhere else besides the datapad?

Nope. They're like vehicles. The only way to take them out of your datapad is trade them or destroy them.

If you have a vender, try placing it on there for 9999999999. When you sell something, there should be an option to pick something from your datapad. It might just be for schematics, I've never actually used it before and I am at work ATM so I can't test it out.
But if you go to the galatic bazaarthere isan option to look for droid ?control devices? (not deeds). So I am pretty sure it will work.

No. No you cant. Thats why i dont accept returns on droids after i sell them because you can only auction the deed.

Yep as was stated, they can't be put on vendors, or redeeded, you can olny trade them and that is if you have room in your datapad.

If it can't be placed on a vender why, when I am at my vender, is there an option to change to the datapad (At the top left in the vender window there aretwo buttons--one says "Invenotory" and the other says "DataPad." Clicking on "Datapad" opens the content of your--surprise--datapad.)? And why, when I chose this option, does it list the drods I have in my datapad? I haven't tried to click and sell one yet and I am at work right now, so I'll try it when i get home. Has anyone tried this method? Is it borked?

Yes -- when you try, you'll get a message telling you that schematics are the only thing that can be loaded from the datapad. Stinks, it would be great to be able to resell them without having to directly trade someone. Same for vehicles...

Unless your datapad is full of waypoints or something, Droids and Vehicles take up different slots. I personally have 5 droids, 3 vehicles, 3 creature pets (2 mounts, 1 combat), 3 spaceships (soon to be 4), and varying amounts of schematics.
