This may seem a bit trivial, but for this crafter, at least, it is truly annoying!
Every time I open either my inventory or a Travel Pack, the "description" window opens along with it. This is the window that takes up the left half of the inventory or travel pack window, and contains details about whatever item is selected within the container. This forces my inventory into a very small area, requiring either scrolling, or closing the details window to see what's in the container.
At the same time, the items in the containers are no longer sorted as they used to be. As a matter of fact, every time a container is opened, the items are all in different places! And, yes, I have "Sort Items" selected in my Interface Options!
I can't believe I'm the only one that this problem affects. As I do a great deal of crafting, it is a major annoyance and inconvenience to have to close part of a windo and sort everything any time I open a container. I submitted a bug report for this weeks ago, but so far no response. Wonder if our Correspondentwould be kind enough to forward this to the Devs?

You are not the only one, it is a known bug.
I am sort of a little glad it happened myself in a twisted way. I never used to use the split description window, I used ot examine everything. Since the bug came, I have strted using it and it does save time. However, I do just close it a lot of the time. It definitly should be an option that sticks from your last time you used it.
As to sorting. All you need to do is hit the "change view" lower right. Then change it back. They will be sorted.
