Pets get a stimpack, Built By Bio-Engineers.. It heals their Health, Action AND Mind (CanI bea pet? My mind damage incaps me every time)

I read a rumor that a BE Stimpack WILL heal a droid ( makes sense, they use the same code) but if so it is fundamentally WRONG. Add the equivalent to the DE tree ( Novice probably) and let people be able to heal a droids damage the same way.

Make battery power last longer than 1 fight, or make CH handler pets NOT attack, the same as our droids, when you dont feed them. ( Both C-3PO and R2-D2 had power cores that lasted 30 DAYS before needing a full recharge. Why not remove batteries entirely? Or make a new stat such as power than runs down like condition/customization that has to be recharged regularly via a power droid, or MANY batteries, but not so quickly that the droid cant complete a full mission without a recharge.)

Adding combat driods to the game now would be a waste of time. With the Problems droids have now, no one is going to buy them. The Battery issue alone makes them worthless unless you have scout/camping skills to recharge them. They Steal XP from you, without granting any skills bonuses or handler xp. They heal TOO SLOW!!! If you take a droideka up against, well, anything, and it takes damage, the healing time is so long it can increase mission lengths by up to 5x!! Even if a repair module were able to repair damage as well as wounds, it would be worthless to anyone who wanted to do missions alone, as they can only have one droid out at a time and they cant heal themselves.

A master Creature handler can have 3 creatures out, 3 faction pets ( AT-STs no less) and 1 droid out at a time. That is literally an army of 1. Why are droids the only pet limited to 1 out at a time? Considering that we only HAD 2 combat droids to start ( technically true, since you have to count the DZ-70 as it WILL attack if you order it too...) And assuming that the exploits were NOT known by SOE then the limit is arbitrary at best.

That got a little long winded. Sorry... Basically If Droids want parity with other pets to be usefull and wanted in game, then more has to be done, and first, then throwing a few droidekas into the mix to try and win our affection. You may or may not agree with me, but the bugs remain and until they are fixed it really wont matter what droids you have or like or want, they still wont work.

or just make it so DEs can also make pet stims. since there is low population of both BEs and DEs, except now that BEs are making good pets they will be rich while I'm still in the po house.

This was already addressed in our Correspondant Responses. They have come back and said that they will be fixing the Droid Repair tool that's already craftable from the Artisan Engineering tree and making it so that it heals the "white bars" of a droid in the same manner a stimpack would heal a PC/pet. When, I don't know, but I'd be willing to bet on the next major patch.

Wow! I LOVE that you used the correspondence Responses as a PLURAL...

The droid repair tool currently in the game is a hold over from beta when droids were saved in you inventory and an item. When this was the case droids decayed like they were supposed to (as advertised) and the tool was needed to repair them, the same as weapon and armor repair tools.

When they were moved to the datapad, they became data objects, and the Droid repair tool would no longer be able to affect them, being a different "data type" now. THey just didnt bother to remove the silly things from the game.

IF the devs decide to add a DE repair stim it will be completely new code. NOT the droid repair kits we have now.

And Ill take that bet for it being nithe next patch! Ill even go double that it isnt in the patch after that either.
