It is 15% medium, actually. Level 5 would be 24%, and Level 6 would be 40%.

I don't know what you people are doing wrong, but I use a singl lvl3 on a regular probot and I keep getting 40% light armor, can't wait to see it on an ADV.

Oh - you're missing the medium vs. light part. Level 3 is 40% *light* while level 4 is 15% *medium* - and light to medium is a BIG difference.

I know 2 lvl 4 armor mods on an Adv. Probot gives it medium armor value and 40% resist all.
What is it with 1 lvl 4 armor mod on a basic probot?
Thank you, this will really help me.

Advanced probots have a built in armor factor. In something like an AMSE, the armor plate itselfis 15% medium, since there's no droid-inherent armor bonus except for the adv. probot.

I don't know what you guys are reading... on Lowca we can't make 4 yet, but up to 3:
Regular probots get light armor, with resistances depending on the quality and level of module.
Adv. probots with 2 armor modules get medium armor, same resists.
There is no other difference in the armor that I can find.

Advanced Probot with Lvl 6 Armor = Regular Probot with Lvl 6 Armor (in all combat-related aspects)
If you have information to the contrary... let me know.

The profusion of false information on this thread of people spouting what they haven't verified is frightening. Or maybe they're doing some sort of different experimentation than I am, but when I examine my probots I see this:
1 armor module gives light armor. If it's armor 3, I believe you get 40% resists.
2 armor modules in an advanced probot gives medium armor. If they're both armor 3, you get 25% resists.

Now I understand what they're not reading.
Probot with a single armor 4 has what resists?
We already know it has light armor.
