I'm a DE (duh) today I was crafting a generic camping kit, when I got ambushed by a spineflap guard. I managed to kill it. Anyhow I got back into Theed later, and I got an order for an R4, so I whip out the ol' crafting kit and it simply says, "failed to boot the crafting session" didn't even give me a message in the spatial chat tab saying that the output hopper was full like it usually does.

No worries, this has happened before I say, I'll just get a new generic crafting tool and make new weapon droid and generics, I've had to do it at least 5 times before.

So I get the generic, and same **edit** thing happens. I tried the /unstick, did nothing. so I loged out for 15 minutes, got a sandwich, came back, SAME **edit** THING!.

so I shuttled to a new city, SAME **edit** THING! can anyone offer any suggestion as to how to fix this? I opened a CS ticket about it, but considering the one I opened about not being able to pick up or move any of the items in my house was closed today, unread, I doubt it will do any good. I

If I can't craft I'm dead, I have no other source of income, I'm a **edit** artisan.

I apologise for the name, I made it way back in week 2, when the CH's were insanely powerful, and as such the less savory people in the community all flocked to novice CH ('cus back then at novice you could control any pet, and they all got Rancors). Now the CH's fit very well into the overall system and as such the jerks and griefer's have moved on to bigger, better things. (Usually bounty hunting.)

This happened to me before, too, and what I think you should try if you did not already do this is destroy ALL your crafting tools, log out just to be safe, log back in, go buy one at bazaar or have friend make generic one, then try it.

I am sure the problem will fix itself eventually. I cannot remember how my problem resolved, but it did. I panicked too when I first had it happen.

Good luck,

/stopcraftingsession

a crafter always on the run and always hitting red cons makes this command something you use every day or 2 almost, hehe. Also just some advice I found out how to fix this the first time by typing in the error message in the search field for the forums and found lots of previous threads about it people had already posted on, just giving ya a heads up so you don't have to feel like you have post and wait for somebody to reply, if its happening to you, you can bet its happened to others typically.

Happened to me several times. You have to manually empty the output. I simply click and hold on tool in my inventory and choose craft and empty hopper is the option I choose. I don't get those warning mesages anymore that says my hopper is full and I need to empty it. It won't work from the shortcut, you have to go to the tool itself.
