Droid Engineer Archive

First off I'm not a droid engineer. And I was reading the weekly reports and saw an item about having multiple droids out at a time. But I couldn't infer whether or not this was a "only DE's should get to have multiple droids out" or "everyone should get to have multiple droids out" request.

I, was personally rather upset when I purchased an R2 droid, complete with repair module, and then attempted to bring out my heavily damaged probot so that my droid could fix my other droid, and found out that I could only have 1 droid out at a time. That's ridiculous! Luke Skywalker was NOT a DE,yet he had two droids.Why is there a limit on this? Everyone should be able tobring outat least twodroids.

What most of us are pushing for is a distinction between 'combat' models and'service/support' models - The proposed system is that you may have one combat model and X number of service/support out at any one time. No response on that yet either.
