I was told that we can store items in a droid and they would not decay if I cloned. Can anyone let me know if this is correct?

I know the maximum item count is 10, is that a Master DE skill, or can a novice build one?

Thanks for in advance for any information you all can provide.

You werecorrectly informed.

It is a Master De skill. But utilizing a bug in socket clusters you can 'fake' a level six storage module by stacking smaller modules.

Thanks for in advance for any information you all can provide.

No need to use the cluster bug to do this - simply put two Level 3 Item Storage modules in any droid that can hold at least 2 modules and you will end up with 10 spaces of item storage.

Storage modules (as well as data modules and medical modules) stack.

I thought I heard that medical modules and storage modules don't play nice?

Only on certain droids. Of course, the models of droids that have problems we'll casually leave a mystery for you. (Actually, to be honest I can't remember them apart from surgicals)

I don't think I have ever seen a problem with medical modules and storage modules.

There is a definite bug with storage modules in surgical droids and maybe that is where the idea comes from.

I know my Threepio can correctly access item storage. What about LEs? I've been playing it safe and not crafting LEs with item storage just in case they have the same issue as the Surgicals, but can anybody confirm this one way or another? I don't have a droid I'm willing to destroy at the moment to find out, and I don't want to use a customer as a guinea pig.

Yep. Just stacktwo level 3 storage modules and you'll hit or pass the 10 item cap.

Of course if you do, you're missing out onputting another module in there...

I just finally got my hands on the rare ore needed for the level 6 modules this last week. Itry not tobuild a droid without 10 units of storage if I can help it, so this lets medo up some of the cheaper chassis and still put crafting and med modules in there.
