Thread: TH: Proposal While We Wait for Bug Fixes and Improvements to DE Profession
We all want the bugs to be fixed and improvements to be made to the DE proffesion and to droids. In the meantime to balance things in terms of sales, I propose that probots be un-nerfed so as to improve damage and HAMand that the droid repair tool (or some other means including pet stims) be added to allow anyone to repair droid damage. Wounds can still be healed by droid repair module and power droids/batteries.
This will allow us to make some sales while we wait for the bug fixes and larger changes. Once the one-pet rule goes into place we are completely hosed since even lvl 10 non-CH pets are superior becuase they do more damage and can be healed.
(Yes, I know about probot armor, but it doesn't save your butt in the field when you can't heal your pet to finish the battle AND it introduces a huge downtime between missions since probots regen really slowly. Cycling through probots to allow them to regen is not an option for people who want a diverisity of pets/droids.)

One down, two to go.
I want them fixed, but it ain't gonna happen at this point.
I really just want the bugs fixed (modules not working in certain droids, i.e. storage in surgicals) and useless droids (BLL and Protocol) given module slots...
But I guess that's too much to ask. ![]()

a repair kit alone would be enough to bolster sales as the probot is already a half decent tank.
/Agree big time

Quit hijacking my thread!
Just kidding:

Quit hijacking my thread
I am sorry, but we are hijacking this thread now. Turn this thread around and fly us striaght to Panama or we will feed the DE's to the CH's pets.
Ok, with the changes coming to the CH's our probots should be just about eqaul to what non-CH's can use as pets. But we are at such a disadvantage when you consider our probots are going to eat through batteries that are a pain to folks that want to usedroids and we have no way to heal our droids right now.
The easy solution to these issues is to make the battery life longer on our droids so they dont burn through them so fast and: For us DE's to be able to make Repair Stim packs that can be used in the field on droids.
Here are some ideas for the Droid Repair Stimpacks: Have two types: 1. for the regular users in the game to use on thier droids while in combat or in camp(gives us something else to sell for revenue), 2. A droid repair stimpack that is more efficient but can be used only by DE's. The second Droid repair stimpack would give some of us DE's an opportunity to go on hunts with large groups and our job would be to keep the Combat Droid pets up and working much like doctors or field medics do now.

But the devs, If they are going to do this (which they wont, because we would like that) need to look at the following chart.
Overkill - Can solo everything in the game
A little bit Overpowered - May need to tone it down, does most of the work in combat
Normal - Requires skill to utilize properly, cant solo everything in the game, but makes a viable partner.
A little bit weak - OMG it just soloed that Corellian Butterfly, did you see that!
NERFED - Cant hold its own against ANYTHING in the game
