Thread: By reading the Combat thread it seems we are not the next 3 month project
I do! I think we're coming next!
But the combat thing they've been working on for a while now, and have been testing it on-and-off a lot lately. As was said, many things are worked one at once.
Oh, been wanting to ask Droid-Creator. Spotted a thread on TC forum where they all welcomed you back and spoke of a ban being lifted or, heh, bugged. Was wondering what you said over there that stuck in so many minds, as well as the moderator's side. If it isn't too impersonal to ask ![]()
Each developer has his own area of expertise. The DE Dev does nothing with Combat. The Combat devs do nothing with Droids. Them working on Combat will in now way effect our issues.
Thanks Sintrosi. I agree. Although it seems the devs only work on one thing at a time, I'm sure they can multitask!
Also, the comment by TH in the Combat thread also stated clearly that he had already sat down with the Droid Dev and reviewed the list prepared by Sintrosi. Seems to me they are indeed proceeding as they have promised.
Sintrosi - Hope to see you at the meeting on Sunday. Would be a great boost for morale at least.
Sin then why is it we were told it would be after cities mounts vehicles ch etc. I apprciatte you responding but if the case is we have someone that works on just us what happened over the last 3 months??
And thanks for responding

Umm, maybe because the DE dev(s) had something to do with cities, mounts and vehicles? Vehicles haven't been pushed yet, and JustG did say we'd be getting some loving with the Jan and Feb patches.
And Sin, you're supposed to be taking a break, now go away! ![]()
Sorry if i am a bit sceptical. If you recall the first proposal they came with after months of input was a total botch. There was no communication what-so-ever with us and wala here is what we have.
Then we have collecting more data, more promises, more nothing.
So if you find me a bit uneasy with the fact we have heard absolutely nothing since there wondrous news im truely sorry, but they have earned there place of no trust untell its earned.
I for one am not so sure we wont see more of the same we already have, are you? Sin was in that loop and when she brought the plan was just as amazed as we were with what they had come up with.
So i guess we see what happens next month.
Frankly they have never even told us who our developer is, could it be we dont actually have one?? Why is it such a secret?
So im glad your peachy with everything, i am not. There track record made me this way.
Hit enter too early...
What good would it do us to know who the DE dev is? This doesn't make sense to me.
I'm far from peachy, trust me. We've argued to the point of exhaustion, the devs have seemingly set to work on something, so I'm going to lay back a little and see what comes. If January rolls around, and nothing new happens, I'll be rested for the next round. ![]()
Sorry for those that are 'MisterNegative', but I have to disagree with you on this one. The code on Test Centeractually hasa number of droid items included this time around and one of which was just added yesterday.
- We have the Probot incap animations that were fixed, whichresults in the Probot laying on the ground in its disasembled state.
- The Protocol Droid Animantions, which happen when ever it is attacked. The Protocol droid will now run off in terror when ever it is hit in combat and even makes an exclimation while running away.
- The Attack commands where removed from non-Combat Droids.
- The Probots have recieved a boost to their damage output. Yes the speed has increased as well; however, the damage output makes the TC Probots produce more damage in the extended fight. I'm getting an average of about65 damage every 2.4 seconds off of a Probot with 2.4 speed and 72 - 88 damage.
- You can now place multiple crafting stations in the same droid and crafting stations no longer cancel each other out.
Lets also take in to consideration what has happened to all creature pets. Majority of their armor was removed and many, including the Rock Beetle, no longer have the strong resists that they once did. All of the non-CH pets are armorless and have a approximately the same amount of HAM that a Probot has (approx 900 HAM for most non-CH pets). CL10 pets do still out damage the Probot, with 90 - 110 being the averages that I have seen.
I agree with Sintrosi that not every DEV will be working on every system. From what I have seen, the DEVs have areas that they are assigned to and as soon as that project is done, the go to the next project on their list. If the DEV that works on DEs is also the DEV that did work on the Vehicles, I will be one happy DE, two now actually, come patch time.
