Since I need more experience points, I was planning on surrendering some of my artisan stuff, but I was wondering, to do that I have to surrender MA (Master Artisan) first, will that delete the mods for my droids that I acquired when I achieved MA?

Are you talking about the Control Units, Micro Sensor Suites, Electronics GP modules and Electronics Memory modules?

Yes, if you give up M.A., you will lose those. You will also lose the ability to make a vehicle, which should be here within a couple of weeks.
