Droid Engineer Archive

I did a bounty with a friend of mine and after answering a hackers questions he opened up the pirates safe. In there was a droid called a "A Defunct Astromech". Insitde of it was an item called "A Droid Memory Chip". It examines and that is all it says. Does anyone know what it is? or what it is for? Junk Vendor doesn't want it. Any ideas?

You turn it in to someone for a reward (It's part of a static mission I believe. cant' remember which one though)

It's part of the Nym's Themepark.

That's the second mission, I believe.

You probably won't be able to turn it in until you have completed the first quest, though.

Nym's Themepark is located on the boundries of Nym's Stronghold - can't miss it (if you look behind the mountain, LOL).

Drag and drop it onto Nym or one of his flunkies.

It'd be really cool if this was DE related content -- take it to a DE to find out what's on the chip, etc. But I doubt seriously that it is.

Ironically, you can use dragon scales to make weapons in this game, but none of the quest/mission/loot hardware components do crap.

hmm.. funny thing is, all the people who have the quest and go there for the chip cant remove it from the droid, they get a message that says "You do not have permission to access this container" or something like that.

I got that message, got really P'O'd, LOL, cloned, and suddenly it was in my inventory.

Now I'm stuck on the next mission, but at least I got it.
