i just wanted to know how long after eng 4 did it take you guys to hit nde cause its taking me forever jsut to get to eng 4 and im grinding away and macro survey

took me probably 3-4 weeks, but then again I don't grind, I've seen it done in a matter of hours if you've got the resources and don't mind losing you're sanity.

Buy some mineral harvesters with BER 4, buy some energy (or put up your own solar or wind generator first), put them on a decent metal spot and let them harvest for two days.


Reap the fruits of their labor, set up a crafting macro with four crafting tools, load up the Armor Repair kit schematic and grind away. It's just about 15k of metal and can be done on one day. I did split it into several sessions to be honest


I can't see how it can really be done without grinding in a realistic timescale as no one ever buys the crap someone who has just Engineering IV can build. Doing artisan missions for half a year might be an alternative
