I'm new to SWG only started last week so what kind of services can you provide? Can anyone have a droid companion?

Anyone who can afford it (or has a friend who can) can have a droid companion.

There are certain functional features of droids which are only useful to those with certain skills, such as crafting stations, which only serve crafting types, or medical modules, which are only useful to medics. However, those droids will still follow you around and obey your orders.
