Thread: LVL 6 Item Storage Mod installed, but not working....

Hello Everyone,

I ran into a rather annoying problem yesterday. I created two ADV Surgical Droids last night with a socket cluster containing a lvl 6 Item storage, a lvl6 Med rating. and food/chem crafting stations. Once the droids were complete, I checked the deeds like I always do. The deed did reflect the 110 med rating, as we all the Item Storage rating of 12. Even one of my customers verified that it was on the deed.

Now the kicker... Once both of these deeds were tamed, there was no "Open Droid Storage Compartment" from the radial menu, and there was no mention of it in the droid info. I actually had one of the customers pass the droid back to me so I could check it out, and it was a no go. Has anyone else seen this? I have never had this problem before... Hope its fixed quick.

I even checked the schematic again thinking, Is the ADV Surg not supposed to hold a cluster? But the schematic said it did... Hmm...

Zeheeba_BSD, the item storage modules not working a Surgical droid is a known issue. Its been around for a little bit of time now, and hasn't been fixed, like quite a few of the other known issues. You didn't do anything at all wrong.

It's a bug, a known one (at least known within the community). Surgical droids with item storage are as borked as repair droids with repair modules.

I read this board everyday, and post occasionally... How the hell did I miss that one? Regardless, thanks for the info guys. At least I know my droids haven't decided to revolt.

I think a better question might be how are you supposed to CATCH all of these things?

*points at the issues thread* That's a good start

Who are you, and what issues thread are you talking about? :-P

Make it available in the in-game Holocron, and you'd have an excellent point. Having it here on this site is tremendously useful... For those of us who actually spend time here reading! The real problem is that there are so many bugs that you have to spend considerable time out-of-game doing research and study just to support your in-game character.

And many people are spending that time, beating their heads against the system. Drashk is doing a great job of it on TC. But yes, it would be nice if it wasn't needed. Thankfully this recent patch has managed to net reduce thesize ofthe list.... I think.

I guess I need to reread the "Issues List". Of course I read it once, but who knows how long ago that was.

It gets updated every now and then. Not as often as it did when I first took it over from Tyim... but it's getting done.
