Ok, folks, Woody especially: If we can confirm that the customization tool is not working on post-dec16-patch droids, lets do a collective in-game bug report from all the members of DEnet, DEA, IDEA. While we are at it, lets include in there that customization wears off too quickly.

The servo that squeeks, gets the droid lube... and we all LOVE droid lube.

What do you all think? Perhaps we can come up with details on what categories to file in and what text to put in there. Woody, you the man. What're your thoughts?

Sodan,

I believe that Drashk has reported a hotfix on TC that solves this. It appears to only affect newly deeded/tamed droids (post Dec. 16th).

Not much use in building a bug report when there's a fix already on the way.

It effects all droids. I tried 5 different droids last night - my own R3, probot and Treadwell that are all pre-patch, and two customers that had an LE Repair and R2. All behaved as described by the bug report - tool window just didn't come up. I also tried with one of the old tools and one new one I constructed on the spot to check that it wasn't a tool issue. Didn't /bug it at the time as I was too busy dealing with vehicles and probot making last night.

Ah, glad to hear it's been sorted. Hadn't posted it on DEnet yet, but if we hadn't heard anything then I would have.

Will put out a temporary notice though (however I did paint an R3 droid this morning without problem... interesting)

Customization? I though it didnt work to begin with (The technicolor R droid bug). Will droids actually retain their paint job?

Yes, I've seen Drashk's post regarding this no longer being an issue on TC.
