Okay, this happened yesterday morning. I went to the midnight showing of LoTR and logged on the game before I had to leave for work. Since I had no sleep I didn't get a chance to post this until now. Just wanted to share a fun experience I had.

As soon as I logged on I get a tell from someone. He must have been doing a search for a DE at the same time I was logging on. What great timing. He asked if I can make medical droids. I said, sure, what kind are you looking for? He says, the best kind. Explaining to him that I can make any of the different droid types with the highest medical rating and throw in a crafting station, it would really be up to him what style he wanted. So he says he'd like an R2 and where am I at. I had just gotten to the shuttleport, asked the ticket teller how much time was left. 35 seconds. Cool, great timing, again . I tell him I am on my way to my shop as I didn't have all the components on me that I needed and would he like a waypoint. He says, I'll give 10k more if you deliver it to me at the med center in Coronet. Wow! I havent even mentioned the price yet and he is already tacking on an extra 10k!

He thenasks about being able to color it (I didn't know about the customization tool bug yet) and also asked about batteries. I explained the crate increments I have for batteries, etc etc. So finally he says, so with the R2, 3 crates of batteries, plus delivery fee how much are we talking. I added it all up and start thinking, okay, I am either selling way too low and screwing myself, or I am way too high and this is where he backs off. So I respond with 38k..... He says, tell you what, I'll give you 50k and we'll call it even. OMG! I thought customers were supposed to get the merchant to bring the price down, not up. How can I argue with that? Done deal

I finished making the droid and run back to the shuttle, again ask how much time I have to wait so I can tell the guy how much longer I will be. The shuttle is about to begin boarding. Sweet, I am hitting all green lights here! I meet up with the guy, do the trade and he was really happy. That's when I found out about the customization tool bug. He said, no worries, I'll just have it done later.

So, despite being tired at work all day, it was such a positive experience it kept my spirits up. I can't wait toback on there and do it again (slept all last night to recover from that movie).

Is nice to hear some positive stories.

Heh heh... I am sure that many of you shared the tell-hell that occured on patch day.... I spent the whole day building new probots and vehicles for residents of my city. With two other master artisans, we built a total of 30-40 vehicles - and that was just for city residents. Plus I don't know how many probots flowed through my shop... I had all the factory components ready for a run as soon as the patch hit... I know that I made 50 advanced probots on patch day, and am down to about 20 of the new ones now

I myselfrarely ever sold a droid for what I ask. Iam given 10-20K more than what I ask.

It's amazing how nice people can be in a world were ANYONE can get an education, ANYONE can get a job and you NEVER die.

Now see if the real world was like this people would over tip to!
