Ive been on vacation for two weeks. Anyway, my vendors were cleaned out so I started some heavy factory runs. I noticed that seekers in singles come in 20 use instead of 10 now ??? When did this change ? Can I expect that they come in crates larger than 5 now also ?

Did everyone double their prices accordingly too ? I dont know how well that will go over with my customers seeing how they might not realize at first that stacks have also doubled.

They changed with this publish, along with the squashing of the infinte use seekers.

Seekers are now 20 charges and 25 per crate.
Probe Droids are now 10 charages and 25 per crate.

I doubled the price of all BH Droids and add the new charge number in brackets after the name ("Seeker Droid (20 Charges)") and i have been advertising in kadaara with the stack change (& Shop Waypoint of course ^^)

Made some good money

(If there where less other DEs here i would bump the price up to 100k or more per crate.. you can make very much money with just one crate (25*10*30.000 = 7.5M from a crate of Arakyds)

Wow, 100k... and I thought I was expensive. You rock! I am getting 40k a crate now, with the double stack size. I havent seen anyone complain yet. I think 100 is a bit much for my server.....at least right now. Maybe if more DE on my server up their prices, we can trend the server up a bit.

Well, found out today I only had a handful of seekers left on my vendors .. since last weeks vendor refresh. Sold the original qty seekers for my original price and the converted ones to the newly revised double price. I left a note on the vendor explaining the differences and what the new prices will be and hand made about 15 arakyds (not enough memory modules to run off a factory run) and run off a factory run of memory modules.

That was 4 hrs or so ago. Just logged in my DE again to check sales and factories out and found someone bought at least 12 arakyds and a few seekers. Made over 400k in sales today alone with the majority just on that last sale and the rest on the astromech sales. )

Food for thought, for thost that wish to keep their Seeker and Probe Droid prices low....

If you average it out, it will require 1 Probe Droid charge and 3 Seeker Charges to find a mark that will pay off 30k, not including loot drop auctions. Now, if we average out the entire life cycle of a single crate of Seekers, the BH should be able to pull 125 missoins before he runs out. 125 missions @ a payoff of 30k per mission is 3.75 million credits. That is only from the actual mission payoffs from an NPC target. Typically, that will cover armor, weapons, food, droids, travel, speeders, and other assorted costs, with approximately 1 million credits to spare. Now, figure in that the BH will more then likely gain at least 1 Uber loot per 20 marks that will pull1 million at action, for a minimum final pay off of 6 million credits.

After doing a looking around on the BH forums and server trade forums, we see that 1 in 20 is extremely low, with the actual number of 'uber loot' drops being more like 1 in 10. This brings up the minimum final pay off up to a minimum of 13 million credits. Factor in server prices and quality of item and we come up with the approximation that a single crate of 25 Seekers will net your average Auction running BH approximately 30 million credits, with some BHs hitting the 100+ Million credit mark off of multiple Auctions.

But don't take my word for it. Look around on the Trade Forums and the BH Forums. Find a single BH that lists on any Trade forum and take a look at their recent Trade Forum post histroy.

In no way am I trying to promote price gouging. I'm simply trying to point out the increased high demand that Seekers and Probe Droids are going to have in the coming weeks and suggest that people start pricing accordingly, so that you are pricing your goods to keep up with the economic standards of supply and demand.

Actually, since seekers have 21 Charges (20 charges + the 0th charge) a average of 3 Seekers per Mission would result in 175 Missions per Crate or about 5.25M Credits.

But as i am running these missions i use 1 of each, 2 Seekers max...

The crate sizes come in 25 now? (Just started new runs this morning and haven't checked since patch as I only had pre patch ones).

Ditto. Thou a MBH in my guild told me a couple of days ago that someone was spamming CNet on Infinity that they were selling these "new" droids for 100c each. I was like, "He'll be out of business in a few weeks"

No wonder mine has been selling so good... to cheap!

Gonna raise mine to 60k and 75k,when you take in a BH payout... raise it up! I have already adopteda standard on all regular droids, 60k each, no matter the chassis or modules. The 'beginner' droids are still 20k, like the DZ70 and such. Eclispe seems to be a pretty busy server so I don't think I am too high on stuff. Once this current bug is fixed I may go up to 70 or 80k on all regular droids. Maybe not on the others so I can still get stuff on the bazaar too. It's bad though when you do the vendor search and find R3s for 20-25k. NO WAY would I spend my time building them for that.

Anybody feel this is too high or too cheap?

Well, my non BH/Space Droids were being sold based on chassis and modules used. The more complex a chassis the more it is and the more complex a module is the more it is. I used the skill tree to gauge the prices accordingly.

Pre Publish 18 I could make multiple Combat Droids with anything from 1 module to 6 modules giving the buyer the choice of a droid to have.

When I was crafting normal droids before Publish 18 my prices ranged from 2k to over 100k for a single droid. All depending on the type of droid and the use it would be available for.

Of course that was when I was making normal droids but with all the bugs some people have had I haven't been able to risk having one of my customers be affected. But not heard much in the way of the vendor problems since Publish 18 so will try to sell more combat, medic and crafting droids. Currently about the only safe droids to try selling on the vendors again. If of course I get the time between stocking up on seekers and arakyds ..

Hmm .. still thinking about possible price raising .. for Bounty Hunter Droids that is.
