Thread: Soooo.....
DarthRoe wrote:Did I miss anything?I've been gone since the day before CURB. I'm sure after 5 publishes that droids are everywhere, they can be named with numbers, slice terminals, playback messages, decay, etc. etc. Right?
This is SOE, remember? so, nope...
Welcome back ^^
You chose a great time to come back.
As usual, perfect timing Roe.

And now we know why our droids are completely and totally borked right now. ![]()
Cut and pasted for your reading displeasure ![]()
Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but thats what I have found. It currently does not look good. Keldarin stated in the CH Feeback thread
Due to the extensive nature of these changes functionality associated with any type of pet may have been affected so please check out all types of pets including factional and droids and report any problems with them here as will.
- Auto Repair Module - Radial Menu option to toggle the module on / off is MIA.
- Creature Harvest Module - Radial Menu option 'Harvest Options'is MIA
- Detonation Module - Radial Menu option Detonate Droidis MIA
- Effects Module (all) - Radial Menu option is MIA
- Level 1 - 3 Droid Structure Maintenance Module - Radial Menu option 'Structure Maintenance' is MIA
- Merchant Barker Module- Radial Menu optionis MIA
- Plyaback Module - Radial Menu option is MIA
- Scout Projectile Module - Radial menu option to load traps in the droid is MIA
- Stimpack Dispensor Module - Radial Menu option 'Request Stimpack' is MIA
All of the droids used during this test still had a corresponding rating listed in the datapad entry, of the control device. (IE Auto Repair Module lists a repair rating on the control device but does not function)
Any of the above listed modules that have a programmed command, such as the Creature Harvest Module, will not respond to a programmed command. The command for the function is not listed on the 'Teach Pet Command' window. The programmed command does display in the datapad entry. (IE I programmed my harvesting droid to harvest on the command 'eat'. The 'Teach Pet Command' window does not display an option for the harvest function. The examine window in the datapad lists the command to harvest as 'eat' )
Any of the above listed modules that have a slash command associated with it do not function. (IE The /detonate command will not work on a droid with the Detonatoin module installed. The system message ' This droid has no detonatoin module.' is displayed, however the Detonation Power rating is listed in the datapad.
It is unknown how many of the above listed modules no longer work in droids that were in the datapad before this publish. The following is a list of modules that I know work / don't work due to having the droid in my datapad, or having discussed it with someone else on TC. All of these droids still list the modules as being installed in the droid.
- Creature Harvest Module - MIA
- Effects Module (all) - MIA
- Level 3 Droid Structure Maintenance Module - Works!?!?! (Oh the irony)
- Playback Module - MIA
The Droid Repair Module and Power Droids are functioning as intended. Each has its own listing in the 'Teach Pet Command' window to be programmed.
All options that are normally listed in the 'Droid Options' program radial appear to be working correctly. This includes Recharge, Item Storage Access, and Data Storage Access.
All other functions appear to still be functioning asthey didbefore this publish

I wish I could counter this statement, but the DE profession is certainly not coming into focus...
Welcome back, DR.

This must be how Cubs fans feel, similar to our "wait 'til next patch!" sentiment. Good thing I'm a Cards fan.
