Thread: New idea for a new droid even though it will never ever happen.

I was posting on another message when I thought of something. In jabas palace in the movie (havnt ben able to get inside the one in game yet) there is adroid caled 8D8. I think thats his name anyway. Its the white droid with a thin head that is burning the feet of the GNK power droid. My idea was, make one of these little guys in game for use for crafters. Pull him out, give him stuff (or droids) to melt up, and get the resources back rather than destroying something. Just a thought.

Or, it could be used with the recyclers. Have this droid out when you are combining resoucres and the OQ in the resulting resoucre is like 100 higher than what it would have been without the droid.
Or, have it in every major NPC city. Players would donate items that they no longer want or have a need for and other players could come and pick what they need/want. Maybe have a limit for the ammount of things you could get in like an hour's time so that one person won't get all of the junk. This could be useful for player with little cash to get something besides the basics you get in the beginning. If someone put an old shirt in there, a new player could get it and wear it rather than the soft undershirt they first have.
Or, the droid could be used a "worker" droid seen in city garages. Have him on the inside moving from speeder to speeder with little sounds effects of tools clanking and whirling on them and bumping into each other. Maybe have an small explosion every few minutes
. That would explain how our vehicles get fixed.
Any other droid ideas? I would be happy to suggest uses for them.
