Thread: Why no loot components for Droid Engineers ?
Droids are heavily underrated in this game, and particularly now after the combat revamp - if you group with your level 30 combat droid it can make mincemeat of anything your level!!! (granted it takes longer because it has lower dps)
adding loot parts to make droids do more damage, make them attack faster, perhaps loot comps to give droids special attacks (rooting or states for example)
adding loot would make droids much more viable (even though they ARE viable now - just not a lot of people seem to realise this)
I am in agreeance with Sur-Jamkar on this one. look at smugglers now they had all there tools repaced with loot components that are not stackable, crafters in general have a hard time with invintory can you imagine if we had to stock non stackable loot components just to be compeditive.
like i posted above if we were to get the ability to put additional component into a item to boost a stat in it, I would like the component to be a item that we could build ourselves rather than loot. here is a expanded list of module subcomponents:
- combat module
- combat retical = increases acurecy in droid
- power regulator = reduces damage but increses ROF
- overcharger = increses damage butreduces ROF
- enhanced barrel = adds elemental damage bonus
- Motive System
- high speed actuaters = increases droid speed
- sensors
- radar dish =grants a limited ranger search abilityand incresed tracking to rangers
- covert scanner = like a covert scanner but mobile and shorter range (must remain staionary, usable only when SF)
these are just a few ideas i can expand it later if anyone wants me to.
