Thread: Publish 7 and Probot function

just posting to ask of my esteemed droid manufacturing colleagues who might be in the know of such a matter:


Some time ago, I had heard that native combat function was going to be removed from the probots in upcoming publishes, to be replaced by the addition of combat modules to the probot in the construction phase. Is this the case or have I misheard or misinterpreted something?


If it is the case, then will a pre-publish 7 probot with multiple functions (for instance a medical probot with 110 med rating and a food/chem crafting station) that has native combat function be more desirable to the marketplace than a post-publish probot with one of the slots (or both) occupied by a combat module?


the latter question might be a bit premature, I don't know if there's enough information about the combat modules yet.

it might be that players will scoff at a pre-publish probot (as if they don't already) if given the choice between the two.
