Thread: Can anyone tell me about Faction Granted Droid Schematics?

I've been dabbling in the GCW of late, and have been offered the option to buy droid schematics (R-Series) from a faction recruiter. Are they special for some reason? Are they better?

They're a waste of faction points. You'll still have to make/buy all the components and subcomponents, and they're pretty expensive in terms of faction points. And the faction point costs on droid schems are all messed up, a DZ-70 costs like twice as much as an R2 unit....
