What if you could load up a droid with recources, and a schematic. That droid then takes the schematic and recources to a factory that you pre determine.

Somethings that would need to be fixed are patrol points being deleted after storing. Better pathing would be needed. Also need to take into consideration what droids can do this (im thinking BLL's).

I see this as a time saving device between making a schematic in your workshop and loading all ingredients, and schematic in the factory.

Also it could take up some number of power to cap the range that it can go to a factory. I think somewere along the lines of 2000m would be fine (got to think from NPC city to a house is about 700-1000m min. Also that it should be able to travel across a large PC town and then some incase factories are not allowed in that town were the workshop is)

After the droid has loaded up everything and started the factory it will return to the person and could then take another schematic and recources to a diffrent factory.

This really sounds like it would be an issue if your city's design/"zoning regs" don't permit people to put their factories near their houses. Even so, what's the maximum distance your factory COULD be from your house if they are zoned in the city too?

Be less work to just jump on your speeder, I think. Useful, yes, necessary, not really.
