Thread: New Droid Engineer and the right resources

I am about to invest in some resources to start my Droid Business (I am Master DE before making any droids, not to holo grind but to offer the best components to all the Doctors and so on). There are a number of sites on the Net that list all of the Necessary Droid resources. I have yet to find a list that that also includes the properties desirable in all of the resources, or even whether the same resource have different desirable properties for different components (Although with the update i am sure the list would need updating). If anyone has any knowledge of such a useful resource for DE’s please post it here. If not i will create a database in the near future and post it on the DE forum.

Your gonna need Fiberplast/chemicals in fairly large amounts as they are the primary resources for the Droid Chassis and Final assemblies. As for the components high quality Copper and Aluminium is good to keep stocked on. You're gonna need rather small amounts of ore though.
What you basically should do is to make a run of each sub component of about 100-150 units.If you do that you basicallyonly need Extrusive Ore and Chems to assemble the droids. But I usually keep a few thousand of every resource on me in case of emergency.

Boot up the schematic on your crafting tool. It will tell you what resourcs you need, the quantities of said resources and which characteristics of those resources are important for the best possible build.
