Thread: Can an ol’ MDE answer me some quick questions?
Surgical droids:
1) Am I right in thinking that to get a 110% medical droid, you still have to install a level 6 Med. Module?
2) That on the final build the Experimental Quality SR and UT are related to the fiberplast resource and the Experimental Quality OQ relates to the Steel and Non-ferrous [that's for standard droids and Adv. chassis]?
3) & what would further experimentation on each of the (3?) available fields given good resources yield exactly [for the standard surgical droid/advanced chassis & the Final adv. build (phew!
) ?
I think that’s it, basically I’ve been asked to produce the best med droid I can although I think the client would prefer a standard Surgical with 110 and food/chem and a lower cost as opposed to an Adv. Surgical with 110, f/c and storage with the greatly increased price.
[4]) Erm… is there anything else you think I should know (just in case
)
Seriously though, mny thnx in advance to anyone who can decypher and answer all of these. I know it's probably basic stuff but this building top quality droids is a tricky business, so thnx again.
Mch luv

- For all of the modules that have levels going from 1 to 6, one level 6 module gives the maximum rating. but two level 4's, or two highly experimented level 3's will also give the maximum rating. I've also heard that a level 4 combined with a level 3 will give the maximum rating as well but haven't tried it.
- to my knowledge, the stats on all resources matter, not just the ones that have traditionally high values for that stat. But I believe when resources that always have low values for a particular stat are required (steel, when the the stat is conductivity for example), the game takes this into account behind the scenes and weights them differently in the calculation to compensate for the fact that that resources max possible value for that stat is lower than 1000.
- for the chassis, and for most of the sub-components in DE (with the exception of the modules) experimentation doesn't do anything. but experimentation on effectiveness in the final crafting step for a droid does affect the HAM.
- read the FAQ's. :-)
1. its either 1 level 6, 2 highly experimented level 3's, or a 4 and a 3. any of those combinations will give you 110
2. the experimentation looks at all resources that have that quality (though I believe for the line you want to experiment on its just overall quality for everything)
3. experimentation on the chassis doesn't matter, on the final build its just the middle line (effectiveness I believe) that relies on overall quality. This will up the HAM of the final droid
4. read, read, and read some more. tons of info on these boards.
Thnx flowers!
& I've read all the FAQ's BTW it's just you're never going to remember all the details and how far would you have toread to get Jendens ''(though I believe for the line you want to experiment on its just overall quality for everything)''. That's the sort of Gem I was hoping to get, thnx boys.
