After much frustration and spending lots of time getting a droidsmith toolkit schematic and all parts AVAILABLE in game. I still cannot come up with a Droid repair Tool on Eclipse. Tried every available part from current schematic list and nothing fits that slot. I checked every veteran DE and formely DE, I searched as many player museums as I could find. These things are almost non-existant! If SOE really wanted to make us feel unwanted then they did it with this. It's very cruel to implement a new schematic that requires a part taken out of game many months ago. They could have at least made the Droid Repair Tool a looted item from a themepark or something. This just aggravates me terribly. I have been behind SOE with all the new changes and not complained about the little quirks and bugs and have not said one thing when I get irritated until now.
All DE and all Tailors need to rally and get this fixed.Droid Engineersare being discriminated against with this. They have made many hot fixes since the schematics arrived and even a full publish and still it does not work. Please all stand behind me and lets get this changed ASAP. All put in a bug report, reply to this message, voice your vote! They can't ignore us as a whole.

The DroidSmith Tookit is uncraftable unless you happen to have a very old droid repair kit (which never actually repaired any droids).
It was an old part that is no longer available but some 'packrats' are selling these for quite a lot.

Then why the hell did a new item drop that needs a item that is no longer ingame. What are the devs thinking???? Shoot what are the devs doing working blind here or something?? I hope not!

I've brought it to the devs' attention.

Yeah y'all are gonna get me in trouble... but seriously, I'm not sitting on my hands back there... - now whether anything is/can be done about it is a different story...

The item needed to make this is in the game. I just bought one of these on Tues. afternoon. Some people have them..they were just smart and held on to them.

Now they are gone (but I don't know if they will ever return)...

TK, anyway you spin this, it is severely unfair to DE's. Weaponsmiths, Armorsmiths, Chefs, even non-crafter classes like Medics, all have these in the game, and the parts are all either currently craftable or lootable. It is rediculous that this thing got past internal QA needing a component that isn't currently craftable or lootable. It wouldn't take much to change the droid repairtool to some other component that is attainable. They could at least throw us a bone here considering the "Droid Invasion" and all the tell hell they've put DE's through...

Come on TK !! What other schematics for ANY other classes requires something that doesn't exist in game anymore ?? There may be a few laying around in some persons pack, but there sure aren't alot of them left.

I know you're our correspondent TK and should remain objective so some extent, but PLEASE stop that "It's-in-the-game-but-considered-rare-neutrality".
It's broken and you know it.
Actually, it's so broken that it should be put on the top of the 'to fix list'.
Actually, it's so broken that it should be put on the top of the 'to fix list'.
All other limited schematics that require sub-components require items that are either craftable or lootable and so should this one.
