Do you really need these for anything or are they just another thing to waste our money on?

But it seems to work without them...that's why I'm asking. I understand that they power them, but it seems to have power all the time.

without power the droid will stop following most commands (everything but follow and stay I think) and you won't be able to use any onboard medical module it might have.

Sorry if i came off condescending in that post, it didnt sound that way in my head as i wrote it.
However, give it time, eventually when you pull out your droid or give it an order you will see the *low power* message pop up over it head (it also spams spatial chat so you wont miss it). It used to happen all the time, in fact it used to run outta power every time you called it out. Then we got upset and the devs made batteries last longer. Fine with me since i dont really consider battery production to be a marketable item on its own, just a tool to keep customers happy (meaning i give them away).

It's cool. If I don't need the other commands, do I have to get them? Will the crafting module sitll work?
