I cant find any posts about the combat modules specificly, what they do and how to use them.

Can someone help me out?

Come on, someone must know how this works.

THere is the one combat module, is that all I need to add and experiment on to get a high combat rating in a droid? Do multiples make any difference. Etc...

Combat modules use inert gas, metal and a droid brain. High OQ and CD are requried to make good ones. A single combat module can be experimented up as high as a 110 rating. They can be staked in a single combat capable socket cluster for a maximum total CR of 330. Different droids can accept combat modules in different configurations. For example, an R3 can take two of these CCSC and achieve a combat rating of 600 total (the best any droid can do).

Does this answer your question? Rather than cry for help, next time try hitting the search button at the bottom of the page. All of the info I provided above is listed in multiple post multiple times and is VERY easy to find with a little effort.

Combat modules go into combat slots or clusters depending on the skin going into. The higher the rating the better the stats. Adv Probots get up to 5 mods. Adv R3's get up to6 mods. Combat cluster can also hold regular mods like crafting stations. I have been building Adv Probots with one combat cluster @ around 250. This is a very low rating for 3 mods but I am getting 110 ish dmg at .79 speed. THis still allows me a crafting station and med chip. .75 speed is about the best and I think around 150 is max dmg, and that is with a 500 rating. For me I would rather sacrifice a little dmg and use the other two mods for the med and crafting ability.

Geeezzz... be cool, Darth.... Not everyone takes the time to RtFM (Read the [self-EDIT] Manual... and the fault there lies in society. I personally blame the current pandering school systems... from Elementary Schools all the way through Doctoral Schools.

Total loss of annual revenue (SOE): ~$715US to ~$900US
- Bad press: Priceless
Should Sony and Lucas Arts be worried? (15000 users * 5 accts = ~$13MIL in potential lost gross annual revenue) If I were the CEO for either LA or SOE, I would certainly be worried.

I did search but either came up with way too many posts to sift through or nothing at all. I tried looking at tiltes for threads going back 8 pages and saw nothing. I looked at all the FAQs and lists in the stickies and found nothing. Trust me I tried and was perplexed not to find such fairly simple information.

Anyhow, thanks for the help. It's the stacking bit I was especialy wondering about. I've been reading that the R3s have a slower attack and lower damage with less modules. Kind of strange how that works out. Seems experimenting in quality is what upps damage etc... is that assumption correct? Effectiveness is clearly ham.

I did experiments with a tracker droid, better damage with one module than an old probot. Thats good at least. Looking forward to assembling a high quality probot.

Bleep Bleep,
