I am on the radiant server and droid engineer always seemed like an interesting profession, however I never had a good time just making things over, and over, and over, and over again... seemed really boring. is there more to the profession than meets the eye?
I look forward to the replies

Nope, make stuff, over and over again, and hope it sells. That's about it.

Hehe, like any other crafting class though, grind baby grind! Once you get to a tier II on Droid Blueprints just sit and craft the Adv Frame over and over lol. Boring but you get decent exp until it's "adjusted" by SOE =)
Other than that we are a fun profession to be, if we only had a more interesting flavor of droids hehe. I still get a lot of orders for specific droid types with specific parts but I'm curious to see the document posted by the dev team on what the changes to our noble profession will end up being.

We're a fun class to play?
I'm just in it for when we get fixed. We've got potential.

Not really. It can be boring, there are the occasional days where I log into the game to check my harvesters and vendors, and that's it, then I just log out. Honestly, if you dislike making things over and over and over again, I doubt you would enjoy being a DE. Or any crafting class really.
