Whats the stats of the best probot which can be made?
How much would I expect to pay for one?

The best probot that can be made right now will come out with 820 HAM, 40% medium armor, and do damage like a newbie's CDEF pistol, though with good speed.
People selling droids like this have a wide range of costs from perhaps just a few thousand for some undercutters up into perhaps the mid-20s, depending on your server and your DE.

well armour wise you want minu two plates of lvl 4 or best two pats of lvl 6 both will get you meduim status with 40% resistance to all.
modules: well see if the DE will put in two general clusters with the following:
medical lvl 6 bonus 110
Craft station module of one of the following: (food/chem, structures, cloth/armour, weapons/droid/general)
repair module (to allow you to repair other droids red and green black ham damage)
lvl 6 or two lvl 4 item storage to increase your inventory 10 more slots.
and the most useless module now the data storage in hopes it becomes some thing usefull again 150 capacity.
hope that helps.

Yup. anywhere from 810-820 HAMS, Dmg about 50-60 roughly and then armor heh...40% with medium qualifications. Now if the Lvl 5 and 6 actually were better than the lvl 4 armor that might be a bit different but...for now the Probot is a tad slow on it's firing and can still take a licking when in battle and walk, er, float away =)

Socket clusters in a non-socket cluster slot is an exploit. A probot takes 2 modules. Period.

I actually constructed an Adv. Probot with 821 HAM. I'm not positive
what did it. I didn't use outrageously good materials, and I only have
1 customization point. I've only been able to make the one with higher
HAM, so I'm not sure if more is possible. I'm a master Artisan and I
made that as a 1/2/1/4 DE. Anyone see anything like this?

Call out the probot and do a mouse over on its HAM bar, by looking at the Droid. Your 821 HAM will magically appear as .....drum roll please.....820 HAM. The HAM on probots is capped, so no matter what your Probot says that it has in the Datapad, it will still only have 810 to 820 HAM. Which leads me to belive that the attack damage is capped in the same way, at 50 Damage, no matter what is reported in the Datapad......

Yes, you can increase the HAM reported for the droid during crafting with experimenting.
However, the actual droid, once tamed, will be exactly 820 HAM. :-(

Bottom line, there's a frog's hair worth of difference between the "best" and "worst" droid of any given type, and 99.99999% of the time it won't show up in performance sos's you'll notice.
I mean, what's the difference to you if it does 50 or 60 damage if you're fighting something with 6000 ham that it can only hit 20% of the time anyhow -- you'll be doing 5500 of the damage anyhow, or die...
