Thread: How much does a protocol ADV droid Chasis cost?
In fact, I had someone /tell me today looking for it, and I had to inform him that the small amount I have left I must reserve for my own use.
Putting that aside, I sell them at a a variety of prices, from a high of 16K for a custom-crafted chassis with name (for home display purposes) down to 11K per unit if purchased as a crate of four or more for shuttleport building by an architect with whom I have a business relationship.
I'm on Flurry and have based my prices on J'Vee's price list as well as efon's from his web site. I decided to charge 50% of the finished Advanced Droid price for the frames alone.
My protocol droids are listed at 35k finished, so I charge 17.5k for the frame alone.
My exceptions to this are for BLL's where MOST of the resources are used just in the frame alone and the Power droid, due to the expensive power core. I charge 42k for a BLL frame and 30k for Power droid frame. I find that a lot of players like to have the BLL as furniture in their houses. And, since the colorization for the frames hold up, you can custom color them to order. I think White BLL's look cool. Sort of like an AT-ST.
I sold one last night to a friend for 7k, and another this morning for 10k.
I need to rework my pricing spreadsheet, cuz I originally had them at around 23k, which seemed high even to me so I wasnt surprised I never sold any before ![]()
That's because you're selling them too cheap.
I sell them for 25k. They take almost the same componenets / resources as the full droid which I sell for 40k to 50k depending on configuration.
I don't understand why Master DEs still undercut themselves and devalue their own wares.
