Thread: I got the funniest in-game email

It asked me how I could charge so much for a small pack!

Background: I do custom orders, and in order to sell them, I put them in a backpack before loading them onto my custom-vendor. This way people are less inclined to ninja-purchase the item(s), since they can't look inside the pack. So when someone saw a travel pack up for 117,000 credits, it was apparently more than he could stand!

OK, maybe this is more merchant-related than droid-related, but I feel more at home on this board anyway.

So you can actually sell full packs now without the items vanishing?

That's nice, I'll start that too I think.

Have them offer the pack up to your vendor once the remove the contents. Everyone knows about our profession being busted and will figure it is the least they can do...

You gotta fly out to Coronet and spend some time with me then Ackis. I'm about 15k short of hitting the million credit mark. I can't even stand there quietly without people asking for droids, and usually i'm too swamped to fill all orders as is

So, if we're ever online together then just fly on over. Always love the company.

LOL I was joking... I just don't want to have to buy hide.

What I do for custom orders is have a seperate vendor for them.

That's pretty funny, but I gotta ask...what did you sell that was in there(as a Droid Engineer I assume it was droid related) for 117k!?!

Reminds me of the guy who got pissed because I had a 1cr entry fee on my shop when I was trying to get Merchant xp. He basically demanded I get rid of it and told me how rude I was and when I politely told him no.....

He posted THIS on the Tenpest board.
